Finding your iBUYPOWER's specs

Retail iBUYPOWER PCs have a model number on the rear label and the carton, for example SlateMR 246i or TraceMR 254a. The retailer's product page for that number lists the components.

Direct orders come with an order specification sheet. If you no longer have it, Task Manager's Performance tab shows the processor, memory, drives and graphics card.

What to know before selling an iBUYPOWER

Many iBUYPOWER machines ship with a single stick of memory. Enter the total capacity installed, for example 16GB DDR4, whether it is one module or two.

The liquid coolers and RGB fans in these cases are iBUYPOWER-branded parts with little resale value on their own, which is one reason a private part-out returns less than sellers expect. They do not reduce our offer, because they are not part of it.

Tempered glass panels are the usual shipping casualty. Tape a sheet of cardboard over the glass, pad the case on all six sides, and remove the graphics card before boxing the PC.
