1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the RebootSemi website, locking in an offer, or shipping us an item to trade in, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. The service
RebootSemi operates a consumer trade-in service for PC components — GPUs, CPUs, RAM, SSDs, and complete gaming or mining-rig builds. We pay sellers cash for hardware that we accept, refurbish, or recycle.
3. Your offer and pricing
When you complete the on-site quote wizard, we present you with an instant offer locked in for 7 days. If the package arrives later, current market pricing applies — we email you the revised number before paying out.
No surprise fees. RebootSemi does not charge selling fees, listing fees, transaction fees, or shipping fees. You receive 100% of the offer amount, less any condition adjustment from inspection.
4. Eligible items
We buy consumer PC components manufactured by NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and the AIB partners of those chipsets, plus major memory/storage brands. We do not buy items outside our wizard, physically modified beyond standard overclocking, items shipped from outside the 50 U.S. states plus D.C., or items reasonably believed to be counterfeit.
5. Ownership and lost or stolen goods
By submitting a trade-in, you represent that you are the lawful owner, that the item is not reported lost or stolen, and that no lien or unsettled insurance claim attaches to it.
6. Shipping and risk of loss
We provide a prepaid USPS Ground Advantage label and, on request, a free anti-static mailer. Risk of loss transfers to RebootSemi when the carrier scans the package as received at its destination facility.
7. Inspection and revised offers
Within one business day of receiving your package we perform a functional inspection. If the item matches the condition you selected, we pay the locked offer. If not, we email a revised offer you can accept or decline — declined items ship back free.
8. Payment
Payment is sent within 24 hours of an accepted inspection, M–F. Available payout methods include PayPal, Zelle, ACH, mailed check, and Amazon gift card. You are responsible for any taxes owed on the payment.
9. Cancellation and returns
You may cancel any time before your package is received. After we receive it, you can decline our offer (or any revised offer) and we return the item to you at our expense.
10. Data wiping
For storage devices, you are responsible for wiping your personal data before shipping. We perform a single-pass secure erase on every storage device we receive, but cannot guarantee recovery is impossible.
11. Disclaimers and warranties
The RebootSemi website and service are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
12. Limitation of liability
RebootSemi’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the value of your trade-in offer or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
13. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Travis County, Texas.

Material changes are posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
