This Privacy Policy applies to anyone who visits rebootsemi.com, creates a RebootSemi account, or completes a trade-in with us. It covers the personal information we collect through the website, the quote wizard, and any communication you have with our support team.
“Personal information” means data that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you, like your name, email, mailing address, phone number, and PayPal or Zelle handle.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to complete your trade-in and run the business: contact info, shipping address, payout info, trade-in details, account credentials, and device/usage data. We do not collect Social Security numbers, drivers’ license numbers, biometric data, or precise GPS location.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Process your trade-in: shipping labels, inspection, payouts.
- Communicate with you: order confirmations, revised-offer emails, support replies.
- Operate your account: let you sign in, see your past trade-ins, and update your payout info.
- Protect against fraud and stolen-goods recovery, including cooperating with law enforcement when legally required.
- Improve the site with aggregated analytics.
- Comply with our legal obligations (tax reporting, anti-money-laundering, subpoenas).
5. We don’t sell your data

10. Children
RebootSemi is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
